Eddy Merckx rode for the Molteni team from 1971-1976. During his time with Molteni, Merckx won seven Grand Tour races: the Tour de France three times (1971, 1972, 1974), the Giro d’Italia three times (1972, 1973, 1974) and the Vuelta a España in 1973.
