Smoky Moon

I went outside tonight and saw an unusual sight (for Pacific Grove, at this time of year), the waxing gibbous Moon. It’s usually overcast here, but with the Basin Complex fire still raging in Big Sur, the current weather conditions: Smoke.

Spot the Space Station

cosmikdebris over at digg.com writes, “During the next couple of weeks, North Americans and Europeans will have many opportunities to see the ISS flying over their homes, due chiefly to a seasonal circumstance.”
This would be good if it wasn’t overcast all the time in my location.
