In the early seventies I worked in Houston on the night shift as a
respiratory tech at the Methodist Hospital. Beneath the Fondren Brown
surgical building, there was a driveway that led past a few reserved
parking spaces for the big wigs of surgery. One of them was for
Michael Debakey, and he owned a white Maserati, I guess late 60’s,
that I thought was a Ghibli or Miura, but it was a beauty. I’ve never
seen one like it since then, except in photos. Thanks for the story.
